‘ Finding in the flow: return to a body of water’ is an immersive 3D film, taking the audience on a story of a group of individuals tracing their identities and reconnecting with each other through the body of water. With water acting as a metaphor and a thread throughout, the centerpiece of this work is a fluid narrative that maps the geographical relocation experience of my family for military reasons onto those of other families, as they navigate the tumultuous waters of cultural mobility.
With storytelling and immersive technology, the audience will experience the process of geographical relocation and the search for identity in a world of constant change.
