The “Cocoon” project aims to explore the effect of the information cocoon shaping what kind of information people are surrounded by and suggested in their media echo chambers on social media platforms. It may seem that we are initiating our choices, but our choices are being always calculated by the algorithms. This project focuses on the voice track used to simulate the process of the recommendation algorithm. This project hopes to raise the audiences’ awareness to reflect on the consequences of the algorithms being applied to our lives.
